Operations Manager | Pastor of Community & Hospitality
Amy shares her time as our Operations Manager and Pastor of Community and Hospitality. She is originally from the UK (yes, that is a hint of accent you hear) and became part of the church as an intern shortly after arriving in Canada in 2010, joining the staff team in 2013. Operationally, she takes care of our services and events, volunteers, communications, and the day to day happenings at the church. As Pastor of Community and Hospitality, she leads our network of community groups and our Feast Team which organizes all of the key events celebrated by our church community throughout the liturgical year. Amy holds a BA(Hons) in Religious and Theological Studies from Cardiff University, Wales and a Certificate of Education in TESOL to teach English. She loves church-wide feasts, helping people feel at home in community, and being Anglican. Amy and her husband Tyler (or “Teacher Tyler” as he’s known in Children’s Chapel) have been married since 2011, and on a day off you’ll likely find them hiking, paddling, baking sourdough, or tending the garden of their little northside home.
