"How now shall we live?" Book Study

The book "How Now Shall We Live?", by Charles Colson and Nancy Pearcey, is inspired by the writings of Francis Schaeffer and deals with the concept of worldview - how our ideas about the world shape the way we live. Any worldview, the Christian worldview included, should be able to answer three basic questions:

1. Creation - Where did we come from and who are we?
2. Fall - What has gone wrong with the world?
3. Redemption - What can we do to fix it? The Christian worldview, however, is the only worldview that is able to answer these questions in a rationally sustainable way that allows us to understand and navigate the real world.

This study will give you a framework to better understand and apply the Bible to everyday situations. It will also compare and contrast the Christian worldview with other worldviews that clamor for our attention in modern society. This will enable you to better discern where the spirit of the world is operating so that you can resist it. Finally, the study will provide examples and motivation to help you strengthen, defend and live out your faith in every arena - home, workplace, classroom, courtroom, and public policy.

We meet Monday nights from 7:00 - 8:30 pm for the book study, but people can stay later for fellowship if they wish. Adults of all ages are welcome.
Note: the November 23 session will start at 6:00 with an optional potluck dinner
