Holy Week this year begins on Palm Sunday (March 29th), and culminates on Resurrection Sunday (April 5th). It is a journey through Jesus’ last days before the cross, and as a church, we go on a journey together, gathering to mark these crucial points in the church calendar as we share meals and worship together.  It’s a sacred and beautiful time in our Christian life!

Our Holy Week events are only made possible through committed teams of volunteers - and that’s where you come in!  

Would you consider joining us and serving on a team this Holy Week?

On Maundy Thursday before our service, we have a simple supper together, a SOUP & BUN POTLUCK.  We ask everyone to bring a pot of soup if they can so we have an abundance, and then package up the additional soup to freeze for our Abide Outreach. It serves families in need of food assistance throughout the year.   On Maundy Thursday, you can serve on the kitchen team, helping the supper run smoothly and packaging soup to freeze, or help with set up, clean up, welcoming, or setting up for footwashing.

On Holy Saturday at the culmination of The Great Vigil of Easter, we love to celebrate those who have been baptized and the arrival of the Easter Season! We serve a GREAT BIG ICE CREAM BUFFET, and we need lots of hands to help scoop ice cream, serve toppings, and clean up afterwards! 

On Easter Sunday we have a POTLUCK BREAKFAST FEAST! We need kitchen helpers, coffee brewers, and extra hands for cleaning up as we celebrate this joyous morning together!
